Gifts Galore!

Since my pregnancy, we have received countless lavish gifts for Baby E. We have been so blessed by many, Calgarians and Singaporeans alike, that we didn’t even have to buy any essentials for Baby E when she finally arrived on that blessed eventful day on 07 September 2013, in Foothills Hospital in Calgary, AB, Canada. She had an abundance of clothes to wear (in a variety of sizes from NB up to 12 months), colourful pretty baby blankets, stimulating toys and textured teething rings, cloth bibs, beautiful warm hats and toques, essential baby toiletries, handy disposable diapers wrapped up like a 3-tier birthday cake, cozy winter wear, even an ergonomic pinky comfy bath tub!

Now that she is all grown up! (ok, bear with me, I know she is barely 6 months old yet), we continue to receive gifts of blessing for our adorable cuddly little one. The most recent gifts for her were from KTPH and it’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. They ware huge presents! And I love how Baby E was so proudly sitting up by herself in front of her presents, grinning from ear to ear! in the following photo. Kekeke… She’s very happy.

Happy are the people who are in such a state; Happy are the people whose God is the LORD! (Psalm 144:15 NKJV) We rejoice evermore for we are blessed with spiritual blessings and joy that are all the more sweeter than worldly joys and delights. May our spiritual joy be amplified in The Lord Jesus Christ, who is also the Source of all good things, that we too will find no sweetness in worldly things that only trouble our hearts and distract us from loving God wholeheartedly.
