Every morning, Little E wakes with a smile without fail. We would turn towards, and facing each other, our eyes would meet, and both our mouths would break into a teeth-revealing grin.
She picked up the book we read last night before her bedtime, and started playing peek-a-boo with me. Just like any other ordinary day, we read, brushed our teeth, had breakfast, and out we went, for another day of fun-filled adventure.
We went to the supermarket to pick up some groceries, and today was the day when Little E went a little too zealous in stacking things…
She stacked anything and everything she found stackable… That was our little one exercising her creativity, being innovative, and putting her stacking skills to good practice.
The stacking continues… and so did the time we spent in the supermarket. I ended up reading more labels and was able to compare a great deal of nutritional information among various brands of groceries when Little E was busy.
I was definitely in no hurry, and had no qualms in her being engaged in those “little” activities there in the supermarket. As long as she helps to put back all the items neatly onto their respective shelves, the staff were happy to see this little returning customer. =D
One day, she will no longer find stacking appealing, she will no longer feel compelled to stack things she did today. One day, she will read this blogpost and probably laughed too… ❤
